Sarah Jessica Parker’s emails and so-called “diva demands” have been leaked, and there’s no mystery surrounding why they’re raising eyebrows.
During a comedy show on Wednesday, Michelle Collins, former host of The View and docu-series Date Night, read aloud a series of bizarre emails which were allegedly sent to her by a member of staff for SJP and her husband Matthew Broderick.
Brace yourselves…
Per Page Six, SJP “instructs staffers to refill a tiny 1.75-ounce container of Vaseline with a small spoon or knife for her children’s use. She stresses that the refill jar not be too big (so as to not clutter the house), and that the cutlery used to handle the Vaseline must be hand-washed using a paper towel followed by a cycle in the dishwasher.”
But wait, there’s more!
“She also requests that a bottle of face wash and Neutrogena body wash be continually replenished for her 14-year-old son, James Wilkie, in his personal shower,” the publication noted.
What’s more, the star — most well-known for her portrayal of Carrie Bradshaw in the rom-com television series Sex And The City — “insists the staff not buy multiples of anything.” She instead asks them to check the product each day and only refill when the item has completely run out.
Another request stems from an outbreak of conjunctivitis or ‘pinkeye’ in the star’s home in New York City.
“Parker sent the team instructions on how eyedrops should be administered, including how hard the children should blink,” Michelle said, according to Page Six.
A representative for the 52-year-old told the outlet: “We have no idea who Michelle Collins is.”
SJP and Matthew welcomed son James into the world in 2002 before growing their then-small family with daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge, now eight, seven years later through a surrogate.
The family are intensely private and only recently made their first ever official appearance altogether at the premiere of Broadway’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in New York City on Sunday, April 23.
Luckily for us, SJP documented the evening from start to finish on social media.
In a video shared to her Instagram, the can be heard singing “It’s A Family Affair” as the brood makes its way to the event.
“Yipee! On our way to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the whole family get to go and cheer for our dear @scottwittman and @marc_shaiman,” she captioned the clip.
Naturally, the family looked incredibly chic as they posed for photographs on the purple carpet.
Sarah opted for an ankle-grazing floral dress, paired with a metallic-green blazer and coordinating heels from her own line, while the twins sported coordinating pink coats and delicate flats.
Meanwhile, father and son kept things classic with a button-up shirt and tie combo.
Cute!
