The much-loved anchor, who announced she was expecting at the start of July, was overjoyed on Tuesday morning as she explained to the panel and eager crowd, “As long as it’s healthy I don’t care! But… it is a boy!”
Seconds after her beautiful news was unveiled, blue confetti and balloons fell from the ceiling and her colleague Jessica Rowe congratulated her with a huge hug.
“I’m so happy for you,” Jessica said.
“It’s a little boy! It’s very strange to have a boy growing inside of you isn’t it?” 33-year-old Sarah, who married Tom Ward last year, remarked before adding that she really hopes her bub has red hair like her hubby.
The good-humoured host signed off the show by joking, “And tomorrow, we vote on a name! Just kidding.”
Congratulations Sarah and Tom, we can’t wait to meet your little man.
