Sarah Harris was live on air when she revealed that she and husband Tom Ward are expecting their first child together.
The journalist showed her panel of co-host an ultrasound image, before addressing their confusion by explaining, “I’m having a baby!”
The other Studio 10 presenters, including Ita Buttrose, guest Brynne Edelstson, Jessica Rowe and Joe Hildebrand jumped up and cheered in excitement.
The exciting news was met with an explosion of glitter cannons.
The 34-year added: “I’m nervous, can I just say that the glitter cannon was not my idea,” before revealing: “I’m 15 weeks and I’ve been trying to hide it very unsuccessfully… I’m due on Christmas day!”
Later on Wednesday, the expectant mum took to Instagram to share her excitement with a sweet snap of the mum-to-be and her pals, media icon Ita Buttrose and fellow presenter Jessica Rowe.
She captioned the image: “In this photo: Me, junior and our real life fairy godmothers. Thank you all for your lovely messages. It’s been really overwhelming. We feel very lucky.”
The respected journo grew up with a single mum in housing commissioned flats in Sydney’s western suburbs.
The blonde beauty married her husband, IT specialist, Tom Ward in a beautiful ceremony last year and among the attendees were her co-hosts and close friends on the panel of Studio 10.
