Breakfast TV presenter Samantha Armytage celebrated her 43rd birthday last week by going jewellery shopping with boyfriend Richard Lavender.
Their relationship appears to be going from strength to strength, with onlookers speculating the couple may have been looking at engagement rings.
After Richard arrived at Sam’s Bondi home with his bags, the couple set off in his car to nearby Double Bay, where they walked to high-end jewellery store Cerrone.
The store, renowned amongst the celebrity set, is known for selling exquisite diamonds and bespoke engagement rings, which can cost up to $40,000.
The delighted-looking Sunrise host pointed out several items on display before they chatted to the store owner, who appeared to be advising them on more details.
Although the couple left the store empty-handed, onlookers believe they’d ordered something for collection at a later date.

When they’re not in Sydney, the couple spend time together at the breakfast TV host’s country retreat.
(Image: Media Mode)The pair, who’ve been dating since April, looked to be in high spirits. Sam, who has recently lost 10kg with WW, looked radiant as she showed off her new slimline figure in skinny jeans and a bright blue shirt.
Richard acted like a true gentleman throughout the outing, opening both the shop and car door for Sam.
Richard, nearly 60, is based in the Southern Highlands town of Bowral, where Sam owns a $2.2 million rural retreat. During the week, Sam is based at her Bondi home, but the couple spend most weekends together in the country.
The wealthy self-employed businessman is well-liked, with friends telling Woman’s Day “they can’t say a bad word about him”.
Richard was a true gentleman opening the car door for her.
