Deciding to shed some light on the chatter, the 40-year-old took to Instagram.

“In the past week or so, I’ve been ‘in love with’; a gay colleague, a straight colleague, a bloke I stood next to at the races 3 months ago, a Gladiator, a British boy-band member & 17 other people I’ve never met,” she penned.

“All these men, & I have a bedtime of 7.30pm…..I’m amaaaazing. (Why haven’t they linked me to Prince Harry yet!? I’m insulted…….)”

Concluding, “If I stand next to someone, it DOES NOT MEAN I’M DATING THEM. As you were…… #happysunday”

The message, which has already clocked in over 9400 likes, was shared alongside an image of a woman wearing a shirt with the caption, “No, I’m not dating anyone. No, I don’t know what I’m doing with my life. Yes, I do want another slice of pie.”

Her passionate comment is in light of talk that Sam was dating her Channel Seven colleague Peter Fegan.

A source told the Daily Telegraph that Sam and Peter had been seeing each other for a couple of months and they were “very happy”.

“They get along well, while it has been going on for a little while now, they are taking things slowly,” the source said.

“With her busy schedule and the paps constantly following her, things have been difficult.”

Sam was also linked to Seven reporter, Shaun White, after they both posed for pictures together at their work Christmas party.

Despite being single, Sam does still believe in love.

“It will happen,” she told The Australian Women’s Weekly back in 2014.

“I meet lots of interesting men. In the past I haven’t been the greatest judge of character, but I think I’ve done a lot of growing up in the last couple of years and I’m more definite about what I won’t put up with.”

Sam sat down with us, and spoke about how she still believes in love.
