After Sunrise’s cringy interview with Kristin Davis yesterday, Samantha Armytage has been uninvited from the charity event the Sex and the City star will be at.
“I was asked to MC that event and conduct a Q and A with Kristin on stage and I immediately accepted,” Armytage said.
“Since our interview yesterday, organisers have asked Sam not to host the event now or to attend it at all, that was unexpected,” Kochie added.
“I always was, and I still am, very happy to host this fundraiser for such an important cause,” an upset Armytage concluded.
After an initial chat about Davis’s charity, the UNHCR, on yesterday’s show, Kochie and Armytage proceeded to ask questions about Sex and the City before filming an awkward skit with her.
“This is a first, ladies, I just want you to know that I have never done this,” Davis said.
Following her appearance, Davis jumped on social media to speak of her displeasure.
Adding fuel to the flame, Today host Lisa Wilkinson tweeted Davis, inviting her on her program the next time she’s in the country.
