Bachelor Australia season three star Sam Wood has proposed to winner Snezana Markoski during a romantic weekend away in his hometown of Tasmania.
The children’s fitness trainer, who is now based in Melbourne, broke the exciting news via Instagram on Monday evening.
“She said YES! When you know, you know. I love you Snezana #tasmaniaengagement #fiance #cantwipethesmileoffmyface,” Sam beamed alongside a close-up shot of Snez’s hand.

Snezana also posted the gorgeous engagement snap and gushed, “Happiest Girl in the World #fiance #engaged.”
And boy is the ring a beauty! The mother-of-one has been spoiled with an enormous square-cut halo diamond which features a matching diamond band.
Fan on the couple’s respective Instagram were quick to point out just how much they preferred the engagement ring over the controversial $20,000 Zamels band Sam gave Snez on show’s finale.
“Tell Sam he redeemed himself on the ring,” wrote one opinionated user, while another added, “Better than that butt ugly Zamels piece of c**p.”

The proposal comes after the Perth-based beauty and her daughter Eve, from a previous relationship, jetted to Tasmania, where Sam grew up, for their first official family trip in his stomping ground.
“Loving my first time in Tassie Simply beautiful and I’ll never forget it,” Snez mused on social media on Sunday.
Since choosing the molecular genetics and biotechnology student in a dramatic finale back in September, Sam has made no secret of the fact he’d love to start a family with her sooner rather than later.
“I think a year [is when we want to have kids],” a clucky Sam [told Kyle and Jackie O during a chat on KIIS FM in October
“I’m 35, Snez just turned 35, we’re not spring chickens. We have discussed it, we do want to have kids soon-ish,” he added.
Well, with a Christmas engagement locked and loaded perhaps there’ll be a New Year’s Eve baby to celebrate very soon!
This marks the first official engagement outside of the show, without the cameras rolling.
Although Blake Garvey asked for Sam Frost’s hand in marriage during the 2014 finale, he called it off very shortly after. He has since struck up a relationship with second runner-up Louise Pillidge.
Meanwhile season one golden couple Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich are still going strong and live together in Sydney.
Most recently Bachelorette star Sam Frost has found love with Sasha Mielczarek and hope to move in together in the new year.
