Ryan Reynolds is embracing fatherhood and loving being a dad to his baby girl, Violet.
Ryan and his wife Blake Lively are notoriously quiet about their private life, but Ryan opened up about his newborn while promoting his new film, Mississippi Grind, at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.
“I gotta jump in and do all those sorts of things,” he said.
He even joked that he “tried breastfeeding”. As expected, it wasn’t the most enjoyable experience.
“It’s frustrating for the baby and frankly disturbing for me … not well is the answer,” he said.
Missing his wife and newborn daughter Ryan revealed this was his first trip away since becoming a father.
“I’m shaken a little bit because this is the first day I have been away,” he said.
The 38-year-old actor previously expressed his excitement about being a dad.
“I’m good with diapers and all that kind of stuff because I have lots of nieces and nephews, so I’ve done it all before. I’m just excited about having a buddy,” he said.
It looks like the excitement is living up to the hype.
“It’s amazing that you can be that exhausted and that happy at the same time,” he recently telling People magazine:
Blake has previously described motherhood as “the happiest time” saying that it feels very “natural” to her.
“I don’t feel like it’s a massive change,” she said
“I do want to just enjoy this moment, but I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year.
“I’m looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter.”
We can’t wait to see their expanding family!
