Reformed bad boy Russell Brand has married the mother of his child, Laura Gallacher.
The Sun revealed that the 42-year-old Brit said “I do” on Saturday, August 26th, in front of 100 of their closest family and friends at a church near their home in Henley-on-Thames, Oxon.
Russell then confirmed the news the next day, telling his Radio X podcast listeners: “I’m living a married life now. I’m domestic.”
According to the BBC, the comedian invited a few of his famous friends along for the bash, including Oasis singer Noel Gallagher, his Forgetting Sarah Marshall co-star Jason Segel and British TV host Jonathan Ross.
A friend told The Sun, “They wanted a very small, personal affair with their daughter Mabel, family and close friends rather than a circus. It was a lovely occasion. Mabel was guest of honor.”
The Henley Standard revealed details of the affair, including that Russell arrived with his baby girl in a silver Mercedes van, while the bride-to-be traveled to the church in a white Rolls Royce.
Russell, who practices Hinduism, and his wife hosted an Indian-themed reception.
Rusty and 30-year-old Laura have been friends since 2007, and have been dating on-and-off since 2015.
The couple share their nine-month-old daughter Mabel, who was born in November 2016.
In March, the Hollywood actor shared his thoughts on his ” all-encompassing love” for his daughter.
“The thing that’s been the most spectacular thing is my life is the most ordinary thing in my life. A baby came out … the same experience we all have,” he said.
“Now, I’m responsible for this human being … This resource of love that you have in you is limitless and everybody is worthy of love.”
This is Laura’s first marriage, while Russell was famously the husband of singer Katy Perry.
The couple’s marriage lasted 14 months, ending in divorce in 2012.
Russell spoke of his time with the popstar, musing, “Obviously the marriage didn’t last for a very long time, and I think that is to do with the undulated nature of fame and that living in those conditions and what was happening.”
“I have come away from that experience feeling — I still feel very warm towards her.”
Adding, “I feel like, when I hear about her or see her, ‘Aw, there’s that person.’ There’s that person in the world.”
