Reports have surfaced that longtime TODAY show weatherman, Stevie Jacobs and his wife of more than a decade, Rose, are calling time on their marriage.
The pair moved to Vanuatu in early 2017 with their children in a last-ditch attempt at working on making their relationship stronger.
Over the weekend a source told The Sunday Telegraph’s Confidential the pair had grown in different directions and now wanted different things in life.
Now, just days later, a courthouse employee has told the Daily Mail that Rose took an AVO out against her estranged husband on January 21st. The ‘restraining ex parte temporary domestic protection order’ is still in place now.
No further details were revealed.
Reports are the pair are separated, but still living together while their young girls, Isabella and Francesca, are at school, however Stevie must stay up to 100-metres away from Rosie.
Rosie is also reportedly dating a new man, a Canadian soldier named Dylan Nash who she met in Vanuatu and started dating three months after her separation with Stevie.
A friend told the Daily Mail, “They’ve been dating for a few months now and he has been rock solid support for her ever since the split.”
Stevie and Rose’s commitment to their little ones was none more evident than when he “hung up” his boots from the TODAY show back in December 2016. Flanked by his daughters and Rose, Stevie revealed on air that he would be giving up his weatherman job to spend more time with his family.
“Monday to Friday, for the past 12 years, I haven’t been able to wake up once with my wife, haven’t been able to get the kids to daycare,” Steve said.
Stevie and Rose are yet to comment on their alleged split.
