Robyn Lawley has put her body on the line and issued a message to the Abbott government – ‘stop coal mining’.
The 25-year-old model scrawled the blunt message on her naked torso in a bid to get the attention of Australian politicians who have given the go-ahead for Indian coal giant, Adani to begin works on the gigantic Carmichael coal mine in central Queensland.
While the racy snap, which has so far received more than 1300 likes on social media, has certainly got tongues wagging, it hasn’t impressed everyone with many online pundits criticising the model’s use of nudity to make a point.
“Dayum, I don’t know which one to tackle, how awesome her “plus size body” is or how stupid using nudity can prove a point can be. I don’t know, I’m strangely conflicted….” wrote one online critic.
“Another model with a pet cause……please pay attention to meeeee, I’m not getting enough attention so I’ll just write something controversial….ugh,” wrote another.
But the environmentally conscious model seems to have no regrets about the post and she wouldn’t be the first celebrity to get naked to prove a point.
