A former backup dancer for Rihanna, Shirlene Quigley, has been found after she was previously reported as missing.
The North Bergen Police made the announcement that the dancer had been found alive on their Facebook page.
“She is safe and at a medical facility which location is undisclosed at this time,” the post read.
“North Bergen Police Detectives have contacted her father and he is in route from Los Angeles to reunite with his daughter.”
Earlier, Rihanna had taken to social media to issue an emotional plea, begging for fans to help find the missing performer and contact police if they heard anything.
“This beautiful soul and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!!” the S.O.S singer wrote.
“My heart aches thinking about how heavy this is on all who love her!”
She continued: “If anyone has seen or has any information on @shirlenequiglley’s whereabouts… PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department.”
Shirlene reportedly disappeared following a visit to a bridal shop, where her phone was later found.
The dancer, who has also performed with Beyonce, Missy Elliot and Jamie Foxx, was last seen getting on a bus in Manhattan at 1am.
The backup dancer’s father Brad Quigley noticed something was wrong when his daughter, who always phones him every night, neglected to make the call.
A source has reportedly said that Shirlene’s car is also missing and that she was acting strangely before she disappeared.
She apparently gave a friend the cryptic message: “Get ready, it’s about to happen and I’m going to need you to sub for me.”
