He is already the proud father of two adorable twin boys, and now Ricky Martin is set to add a little girl to his family.
Speaking at his education centre in Puerto Rico, the super star singer told reporters that he plans to add to his family next year.
“The little baby will come next year. When daddy’s little girl arrives, I want to be there,” he told Fox News Latino.
But there are still some details to work out before his daughter and third child arrives. It seems the 42-year-old is yet to organise a surrogate.
“We have to make a couple of phone calls to look for the little girl,” he said.
The Livin’ La Vida Loca singer, who publicly acknowledged his homosexuality in a March 2010, sought a surrogate mother to have his twin boys Matteo and Valentino, now aged 6.
In an interview with 60 Minutes, the star said he wanted two more children.
“I want daddy’s little girl,” he said.
“I’m healthy and I feel strong,beacue one things for sure you need to be healthy and strong to raise kids, especially the way I do it.”
“But, I am ready and I want more.”
The singer who said he is “always at work in the studio” announced that he’ll launch the first single in September or October, a new album in 2015 and embark on a promotional tour.
