We all make decisions that we regret.
Buying a cake that you didn’t need, eating a slice or the entire thing…
Most of the time you’re not contractually obliged to live with that decision for 18 months (though, if there are any cakes that want to commit… We’re open).
Enter The Bachelor Australia 2016 lovebirds Richie Strahan and Alex Nation.
^ The Bachelor producers actually cut this out of the final episode…
From the moment the Perth rope technician picked the single mum, the pair have been plagued with split rumours.
Now, we’re not trying to say they were doomed from the start…

Everyone across the nation has been trying to get word on the pair’s status.
Doing their bit for the cause, Confidential tried the good ol’ tactic of calling and asking the pair straight out – “Have you split?”
“A downcast Strahan danced around the issue and refused to shut down speculation,” the publication stated.
Meanwhile, Alex failed to return their calls and the couple’s management, Chadwick Celebrity, advised they would not be comment on the pair’s “personal lives”.
The whole thing is very awkward, considering their famous because of their personal lives.
Now To Love has reached out to both Richie and Alex, but we expect it will be a thorny reception.
Despite their whirlwind love on screen, Richie hasn’t shared a photo with the model since May 22.
Adding her fuel to the fire, Alex last shared a snap of the pair following them walking the Logies red carpet together back in April – the last time they were publically spotted as a couple.
And the 25-year-old is a REGULAR poster on Instagram… We counted, it’s been 62 photos since we last saw Richie boy.
“Alex is going through as really tough time right now”, a source told Woman’s Day recently.
“She really hoped that this relationship was going to work- she introduced Richie to her son Elijah and everything. Now it’s just crumbled before her eyes.”
Speaking of Alex and Richie’s Logie appearance, one pal said, “She said they were broken up last week and now they’re holding hands in front of the camera.”
“It’s weird!”
We agree…
