Chauffeur-driven limos are a thing of the past for former Bachelor Richie Strahan and his chosen girl, Alex Nation.
After posing up a storm in the Emirates marquee on Derby Day, they opted to take the bus home!
Partied-out Alex walked barefoot, while Richie looked like he’d had quite a bit of fun.
The reality TV lovers shared a cigarette before their journey home and while Alex looked less than impressed having to wait at the bus stop, she later thanked her man for looking after her sore feet.
“Thank you gorgeous man for looking after my sore tootsies all day,” she penned on Instagram.
Alex, 25, and Richie, 32, have a ciggie after a long day.
Alex proved she’s just like the rest of us! After hours in heels, sometimes it’s easier just to walk home barefoot.
The Bachelor couple opted for coordinating white looks.
Meanwhile Alex recently revealed to The Fix she is still reluctant to introduce her new boyfriend to her five-year-old son Elijah.
“He doesn’t quite understand it all, but he’s been amazing. They still haven’t met. We’re taking it very, very slow,” the blonde beauty explained.
Alex finished off her ensemble with an oversized black hat.
Since the show finsihed, Richie and Alex have been a regular fixture at A-list events.
“Thank you gorgeous man for looking after my sore tootsies all day,” she penned on Instagram after the event.
Elijah and Richie may not have met face-to-face just yet, but they have FaceTimed!
Speaking to TV Week recently, the couple revealed that the first introduction happened over the calling service.
“We are still trying to figure out a good time for Richie and the little guy to meet,” Alex said. “But they have done FaceTime, which was super cute.”
While Alex checked her phone, the punter next to her enjoyed a sneaky nap.
It’s a far cry from their days in the Bachelor mansion.
The pair chatted while smoking.
And if Alex’s enthusiasm was anything to go by, everything went well. “I swear to god my ovaries exploded, it was cute,” the 25-year-old said.
And Richie is feeling confident about their first conversation.
“The little guy thinks I’m super cool, so I wasn’t nervous at all,” the 32-year-old explained. “The little guy has me wrapped around his finger already, but I won’t tell him that!”
“I was really excited to chat to him. I have been talking to Alex over the phone all the time and he is always like, ‘Who’s that?'”
In a recent interview, Alex said Richie and her son Elijah still haven’t met.
