Time to get out the wine and call the girls! Just one year after Bridget Jonesโs Baby was released we might already be getting another installment.
While attending the Greenwich International Film Festival, Renee Zellweger was asked to comment on the possibility of another movie.
โSelfishly, I hope so!โ she told Us Weekly โ[Bridgetโs] a lot of fun!โ
It has been 16 years since Renee, 48, first played the charmingly disastrous but totally relatable Bridget, and it seems she isnโt ready to let her go just yet. We donโt blame her.

Unfortunately thereโs no word on whether Colin Firth โ aka the handsome but uptight Mr Darcy โ is up for flick number four, but last September he admitted it was โwonderfulโ to work with Renee again.
โ[Seeing Renee] was when I knew, or started to become optimistic, that this was worth doing,โ he said of the third film. โWhen I saw how alive she was in the role, I thought this may be in good shape.โ
But the bigger question is, now that Daniel Cleaver (played by Hugh Grant) has been found alive, will he show up to put a wedge between Bridget and Mr Darcy?
Well, weโll just have to sit tight in our granny undies on this oneโฆ

Meanwhile, Renee revealed sheโs getting ready to work behind the camera. โI have something that Iโm going to do this summer that I havenโt done before and so Iโm looking forward to that,โ she said.
Wait, is she trying her hand at directing?!
โYeah, weโll see,โ she adds. โWeโll see how that goes. Weโll see what happens!โ
Hmm, maybe sheโll do more than star in the next Bridget Jones filmโฆ
