One of Australia’s most celebrated women Hazel Hawke has passed away at age 83 leaving behind an incredible legacy.
She was the wife of a former Prime Minister but a remarkable woman in her own right, influencing policy and advocating for issues she was passionate about.
Her biggest fight began 12 years ago when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
