Guys, it may be 2017 but when you’re the offspring of Hollywood royalty Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, then you’re going to need be launched into society.
Ava Phillippe would have made Elle Woods bend and snap to the floor after stepping out for le Bal des Débutantes in Paris on Saturday night.
The Parisian debutantes ball hosted 20 young ladies, as they made their official mark in peak “lifestyles of the rich and famous” fashion.
Reese Witherspoon proudly accompanied her 18-year-old for the exciting evening, hosted at the Peninsula Hotel.
Ava channelled her best Cinderella, dressed in the most lavish gold ball gown by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture.
Proving that dating a prom king is for mere mortals, Reese’s doppelganger daughter was escorted by an ACTUAL king, 19-year-old Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur.
Padmanabh, or as his pals (which includes THE Prince William) call him “Pacho”, is a member of India’s national polo team.
To cap off their E! True Hollywood story, the young genetically blessed couple “entered society” by waltzing to the music from Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling’s Oscar-winning film La La Land.
The debutantes ball, le Bal des Débutantes, was founded in 1992 by Ophélie Renouard.
As the name suggests, the prestigious event is inspired by the balls from centuries ago.
For all those who don’t remember what life was like in the 1900s, essentially it is the perfect opportunity the daughters of the very rich and the very famous to play dress up and celebrate being, well the daughters of the very rich and very famous.
Ophélie has launched many notable young ladies including Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughters Scout and Tallulah Willis, Sylvester Stallone’s daughter Sophia Rose Stallone and Robert Kennedy Jr.’s daughter Kyra Kennedy.
The night might have been all about Ava, but Reese Witherspoon still gave us tinseltown magic.
The 41-year-old, who brought hubby Jim Toth as her date, looked sublime in long-sleeved black ball gown, featuring a pretty floral design on the bodice.
Reese, who was spotted taking snaps of her girl all night, couldn’t be more proud of Ava.
On her 18th birthday, the Big Little Lies star shared a moving tribute to her only daughter.
“Your kindness, grace, intelligence and humor never cease to amaze me. I love you and your HUGE ❤️ and I feel so lucky that I get to be your mom. #proudmom #18.”
