In 2004, Rebecca Loos rose to fame after claiming to have a four-month affair with her then-boss, David Beckham.
The fall-out from her claims were diabolical with David vehemently denying her version of events and labelling the story as “ludicrous”.
Rebecca was immediately dismissed from her position and went on to star on a range of reality TV shows.
The Spanish-born beauty eventually fell in love with medical adviser Sven Christjar Skaiaa, who worked on one of the shows she appeared on.
She is now married to Sven and shares two sons with him.
Rebecca has since shunned the spotlight and has lived a low-key life in Norway until now.
Rebecca Loos finally responded after the alleged cheating scandal between her and David Beckham got brought up 20 years later in his new docuseries ‘Beckham’
She spoke to Daily Mail about her annoyance with how David portrayed the aftermath of the affair in the docuseries.
David chose to focus directly on the aftermath of the affair between him, the media and his wife, Victoria Beckham.
He doesn’t confirm, deny or even mention if the rumours were true and it’s the lack of accountability that is irritating Rebecca.
“It’s all, “poor me”. He needs to take responsibility.” Rebecca reflects on how he only spoke about how the tabloids were portraying him and how he upset Victoria.
“He can say whatever he likes of course and I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim and he’s making me look like a liar, like I’ve made up these stories.”
She goes on to tell the Daily Mail, “He is indirectly suggesting that I’m the one who has made Victoria suffer.”
David’s commented on the subject in ‘Beckham’, “Victoria is everything to me. To see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters.”
She explains that for her the scandal was buried and forgotten about before he decided to include it as a topic in his docuseries.
“He talks in the documentary about this ultimately being his private life, shutting it down.”
“I think it’s one thing to keep your private life to yourself. It’s another thing to mislead the public. And so many people had forgotten about all of this. So many people put all this behind them, this whole affair, the scandal and everything. And he’s dragged it back up again in a way that is affecting my reputation.”
Although some might see this as a bit contradicting considering she first brought the scandal to the public.
Although she goes on to explain it was more so if he was bringing it up, he should’ve addressed it differently.
“I think if he was going to touch on this time and how difficult it was, it would have been really nice for him to have said ‘it was not my proudest time’.”
“If you don’t want to take responsibility for things because of your family and your children that’s absolutely fine. And if he had just said it was a tough time for us and moved on I wouldn’t be here today.”
“But he specifically made it look like… my fault, that he had nothing to do with this.”
These days, you’re more likely to catch Rebecca enjoying a hike in the stunning wilderness of her new hometown Hemsedal than posing on the cover of men’s mags.
Rebecca says her main priority is looking after her sons Magnus, seven, and Liam, four. She also works part-time at Sven’s medical surgery.
“I was never going to be one of those women who put their career on hold, who put their hand out to their husband, to ask permission. I used to think that was the worst,” the brunette beauty told the MailOnline
“All that has changed. I feel like I’ve grown up. Now we are a team.”
The former PA, who is about to unveil a blog about her life in Scandinavia, says she takes pride in keeping a tidy home and providing healthy lunches for her kids.
“I clean the house, scrub the bathroom, make dinner every night, do the washing – I love caring for my home and family.”
Her wholesome lifestyle is a far cry from the early noughties but Rebecca believes everything that played out happened for a reason.
“I like the way my life has taken me. If I hadn’t been famous, I would not have been invited on the TV show where I met my husband Sven and had my lovely boys. I would not have had the life I have now.”

At the time of the scandal, Rebecca gave an explosive tell-all interview with SKY TV alleging her professional relationship turned romantic with Beckham as her grew lonely in Madrid.
“I think the chemistry between David and I was so strong and people were not happy because I was being very unprofessional and he’s a married man,” she said at the time.
“He is very generous lover. He gives a lot. He pleases. He knows what you want. It’s all about you and not so much about him. It’s nice.”
David vehemently denied Rebecca’s allegations and released a damning statement.
“During the past few months I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life. What appeared this morning is just one further example.”
“The simple truth is that I am very happily married. I have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change these facts,” his statement read.
Fast forward to 2016 and David and Victoria Beckham are the proud parents to four children and recently celebrated their 17 year wedding anniversary.
