In never-before-seen tapes, unearthed by theDaily Mail and filmed in 2000, a then 25-year-old Angelina Jolie is shown giving it her all during an acting class.
The video depicts the aspiring actress going through a very wide range of feelings while working on a scene with another student.
She may seem baby-faced but rest assured her emotions are anything but child-like as she gives a spine-tingling performance of a troubled woman.
“I need to hurt you, I want to hurt you,” she screams during the intense dialogue.
Even at such a young age it was very clear that Angelina had the talent to make it in Hollywood and it comes as no surprise that soon after this video was filmed, she won an Oscar for her chilling role in Girl, Interrupted.
It was tumultuous rise to the top for the 40-year-old though, and despite being the daughter of two actors, she decided to drop out of theLee Strasberg Theatre Institute to become a funeral director.
It wasn’t long before Angelina stepped back into showbiz and became one the most recognisable faces of her generation.
Nowadays of course, the sometimes director is a proud mum-of-six who divides her time between her children, her craft and charity work as a United Nations Ambassador.
