On holiday with her family in France, Princess Beatrice was heckled after a steamy display with her boyfriend Dave Clark.
The young couple, who were on holidays with Fergie, Prince Andrew and Princess Eugenie in the French Riviera, stunned beachgoers with their over-the-top display of teenage ardour.
Wearing only a skimpy bikini and a flimsy sarong, Beatrice, 19, appeared caught up in the moment as she kissed Dave passionately.
“Beatrice jumped on her boyfriend,” says one witness. “Nobody knew where to look.
“After five minutes of snogging, people started shouting ‘Get a room.’ But they just carried on.”
The young Princess’s antics are unlikely to impress the Queen, who is already said to be concerned about her granddaughter’s behaviour. Fearful that their parents’ revolving-door love-lives have scarred Beatrice and 17-year-old Eugenie, the monarch is keen to avert another royal scandal.
“It’s no wonder Bea is going off the rails,” says a palace source. “Look at the way her father has been conducting himself — he’s hardly a role model.”
In recent months Beatrice has been photographed leaving nightclubs looking the worse for wear, while her former boyfriend Paulo Liuzzo caused embarrassment for the royals when it was revealed he had a criminal past. He also sold interviews and photographs to the UK press about their time together.
Despite being advised to tone down her public behaviour, it seems Beatrice has inherited her mother’s stubborn streak. “I don’t see myself as a stereotypical princess, so people often expect one thing when they first meet me and I give them another,” she says.
