Prince William has proven he’s just like any normal husband, after rushing to make the train home in time for his wife’s birthday.
The Duke of Cambridge, who was dressed casually in a baseball cap and running shoes, was spotted hurrying for the train back home after spending the day at St John’s College, Cambridge.
The prince has just started part of his 10-week bespoke agricultural management course at the college.
William rushed back to Kensington Palace to be with his wife and their 5-month-old son Prince George to celebrate Catherine’s 32nd birthday with a family meal.
While the duchess spent the day behind closed doors at the palace, government buildings flew the Union Flag in her honour across London for her special day.
And while Kate plans to spend much of the next few weeks caring for her son, she is set to make some public appearances while her husband completes his university course.
William’s outfit change was a stark contrast to the business attire he wore earlier in the day.
For William, 2014 is set to be a transitional year, after he gave up his role in the RAF in September.
