With just two months to go before her due date, a heavily pregnant Megan Gale stole the spotlight at the opening night of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival in Melbourne last night.
The 38-year-old model smiled and proudly flaunted her baby bump at the David Jones runway show in a figure hugging black and white dress while posing for pictures on the red carpet.
The former face of David Jones is expecting her first child with her 25-year-old AFL player partner Shaun Hampson.
Gale previously dated high profile comedian, Andy Lee, but began seeing Hampson soon after the couple separated in 2010.
The statuesque beauty recently told the Daily Telegraph she is as “prepared as she can be” ahead of the impending birth.
“It is one of those things where you can plan all you like but on the day, what is going to happen is going to happen,” Gale said.
The business-minded model has remained busy throughout her pregnancy, shooting L’Oreal campaigns and appearing at various events.
The mum-to-be has remained mum on the sex of the baby and seems relaxed ahead of her induction into motherhood.
“You just have to wing it at the end of the day while being as equipped and as educated as you can. Hopefully a quick game will be a good game but we’ll see what happens.”
