On Friday, the 26-year-old posted a photo of her injuries via her Instagram page and revealed she had an accident on a staircase.
In the photo, the model’s bruised and battered legs rest on the hospital bed as her concerned husband Geoffrey Edelsten keeps watch.
Alongside the shot, Gabi penned a detailed description: “Geoff coming to cheer me up had a staircase accident and fractured a rib and my lung has collapsed,” she wrote.
Before adding: “Pray for me and my family to be. I’m in the trauma centre of Alfred Hospital. I’ll try to keep you updated all of my friends on here who really are there for me.”
It’s not yet know if the fall has affected her unborn baby.

Despite her injuries, she still managed to upload a solemn-faced selfie with her 72-year-old husband from hospital.
“Not the best way I wanted to debut my new hair ;/ but my husband makes me feel beautiful no matter how I feel or look.”
