Pippa Middleton has scored herself a job as contributing editor for Vanity Fair.
It’s the second magazine job the 29-year-old has secured herself in the past year. Pippa also writes the monthly “Friday Night Feasts” column for Waitrose Kitchen magazine.
The younger sister of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, has written her first editorial piece about her most memorable experiences at Wimbledon.
In the article Pippa says she was once an aspiring professional tennis player herself and remembers purchasing a postcard of the women’s championship trophy and writing on it: “I will win this one day.”
Pippa, who is currently dating stockbroker Nico Jackson, said as a child she imagined she would get married in tennis whites, including “shorts with no pleats or frills”.
Throughout the article Pippa describes her favourite memories of Wimbledon, what to wear to a match, what to prepare for before heading to centre court, and which up-and-coming tennis stars to watch.
She also advises to keep the evening afterwards free.
“There’s nothing worse than having to leave Rafael Nadal’s athleticism for a routine pizza with friends,” she writes.
Pippa joins a large team, with the July issue listing 88 contributing editors.
