Gone are the pretty teenager’s flowing brown locks, and in their place a closely cropped, spiky orange ‘do.
Paris proudly debuted the shock new look yesterday on her social media, captioning one of the pictures with “schmiles all round!” (we assume she means smiles), clearly proud of her brave new makeover.
Paris’ long locks are no more.
The bright orange colour is apparently just a transitional shade as she slowly bleaches her dark hair to blonde – and she was quick to point out that her new look echoes that of the late singer David Bowie.
“You gotta embrace the awkward phase from jet black to blonde where it’s pretty much orange,” she captioned another photo, in which she is posing in front of a Bowie poster with a lightening bolt painted on her face.
“Ch ch ch ch ch changes!” she added.
Paris shared this blurry image on social media of her new, Bowie-inspired look.
Fans were quick to comment that it’s nice to see her looking so happy after a tumultuous start to the year.
After splitting from her boyfriend Chester Castellaw, the teenager has revealed she attends Alcoholics Anonymous.
She has also been seen puffing away on cigarettes on Los Angeles streets.
At 15, she was rushed to hospital after a suicide attempt, and was then admitted to rehab.
