Another day, another drama for Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson.

Off the back of this month’s adventure to the Land Down Under for the Melbourne Cup, Paris, 19, has been caught up in just a wee bit of controversy (namely being called a ‘diva’ following her Cup antics…).

Paris at the races.

And the fun doesn’t stop there.

During her stay, Paris visited a Hamilton Island wildlife sanctuary, where she was able to get up close and personal with some of Oz’s most loved animals (including cuddling up to a koala).

However, it was one of her Instagram stories that has managed to offend scores of Aussies across the internet. Paris posted a picture of her patting a dingo with the caption, “A dingo ate my baby.”

Paris’ Instagram story.

As reported by News.com.au, Paris’ quote was referencing one of the country’s most infamous crime cases where Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton was wrongly jailed over the death of her little baby girl, Azaria.

Years after her being thrown into jail, Lindy was released after the courts found that a dingo had, in fact, killed her baby.

In Paris’ defence, we’re sure she had no idea about the magnitude of this particular case, or the possibly offensive severity of her words, but she hasn’t hesitated in slamming Aussie media for how “It breaks my heart to have visited the most beautiful country I’ve ever seen and may ever see, and meet the kindest most genuine people, and then be shredded to pieces by their monstrous media,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Despite the nasty and cruel words, i still can’t wait to come back. thanks for the support aus tabloids, you guys are fantastic and i hope you feel big and strong for tearing down a teenage girl.”
