Speaking with Rolling Stone magazine, Paris Jackson has claimed that her father’s death was not an accident as has been reported, but rather the result of a conspiracy.
Using satirical air quotes around the title “doctor”, Pairs revealed that she blames Dr Conrad Murray, the King of Pop’s personal physician, for his dependency on the anesthetic drug propofol that led to his death.
Dr Conrad Murray has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years in prison over the iconic pop star’s death.
But Pairs also believes that there was a darker conspiracy at play and so, apparently, did Michael himself.
She said, “He [Michael] would drop hints about people being out to get him.”
“And at some point he was like, ‘They’re gonna kill me one day.'”
When asked directly if she believes her father was murdered, Paris said, “Absolutely.”
“Because it’s obvious. All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bull**, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bull**.”
While Paris was unwilling, or perhaps unable to name names, the candid interview went on to reveal that Paris will eventually seek justice from the parties that wronged her family.
She said, “I am trying to play the chess game the right way. And that’s all I can say about that right now.”
During the candid interview, Paris also touched on her high-publicised suicide attempt.
At just 15-years-old, Paris was reportedly drowning in depression and battling a very serious drug addiction when she decided to slash her wrists and down 20 Motrin pills.
“It was just self-hatred,” she said, “low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn’t do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore.”
Joining the likes of Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily, Paris Jackson was recently spotted in a stunning photoshoot for luxury fashion brand Chanel.
She added that there have been “multiple” attempts to take her own life, explaining that “It was just once that it became public.”
Another possible factor that may have led to her dangerously depressed state of mind is the revelation that she was sexually assaulted at 14.
Paris said that the offender was a significantly older “complete stranger.”
She added: “I don’t wanna give too many details. But it was not a good experience at all, and it was really hard for me, and, at the time, I didn’t tell anybody.”
