She’s got babies on her mind!
Simply unable to contain her excitement, Paris Hilton couldn’t help but gush to Us Weekly in preparation for her sister Nicky to welcome her first baby girl.
“She’ll be here soon, this month, so we’re all counting down the days and can’t wait to meet the little baby girl,” the Stars Are Blind songstress said at the launch of her new perfume Gold Rush on Wednesday.
“We’re so thrilled and I can’t wait to be an aunt. This is my first time in my life, so the whole family is just excited.”
And although the blonde beauty has certainly come a long way from her partying days as a reality star on The Simple Life, there is one thing, or rather habit, that she has never quite been able to kick.
Speaking of her compulsion to shop, the 35-year-old admitted. “Every time I walk by a baby store and see something in the store that’s for baby girls, I’m like, ‘OK, I have to get that!’”
“I bought her so many cute shoes and clothes and hats and bows and toys and everything.”
Paris Hilton’s rise to fame was naturally kick-started as the granddaughter to Conrad Hilton, founder of Hilton Hotels.
She hit the Hollywood scene when she signed as a model to Donald Trump’s modelling agency, but her real transition to ‘it girl’ came when her controversial sex tape with then-boyfriend Rick Saloman was made public, just weeks before the worldwide premiere of her reality television series alongside pal and fellow socialite Nicole Richie.
The Simple Life ran for five seasons from 2003 to 2007, and from the wave of recognition that followed, the party girl was able to land a book, a hit single, multiple spin-off series’, a fashion line, numerous fragrances, minor roles as an actress and several magazine covers.
But her rise to stardom was not without complications, and after a slew of failed relationships and engagements that led her to dive head first into LA’s party drug and scene, Paris was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol content of 0.08%.
She spent 23 days in Prison and the months that followed were tumultuous to say the least, but after picking herself up from the fallout that followed from her and her families derailment, Paris reinvented herself as an international celebrity DJ.

Now, it would seem that her reckless days are behind her as she prepares to be a responsible aunt to her sister’s impending arrival.
And from multiple interviews over the last year or so, Paris has made it clear that she’s finally ready to settle down and start a family herself.
On more than one occasion, the iconic blonde described bringing a child into the world as “the meaning of life.”
“One day I’d love to get married and have kids,” she quipped to Closer magazine.
“I see how happy Nicky is. That’s the true meaning of life: to find the love of your life and start a family.”
