Oprah Winfrey flaunts her shapely figure in a black Capezio cat suit on the September cover of her O Magazine.
In a column for the magazine, the 60-year-old media mogul admitted to feeling “pretty phenomenal” on the cover but did confess to having some nerves about donning the skin tight suit for the issue.
“I was a little apprehensive about doing this cover in a bodysuit because as Maya Angelou says in her Phenomenal Woman, ‘I’m not built to suit a fashion model size.’ But it’s like something I’ve never done, it’s really kind of exciting,” she wrote.
Despite all of her success, The Butler star has been very open about her weight struggles which have become tantamount to her public persona and in the issue Oprah explains why she dedicated the month to makeovers.
“I’m a big fan of the kinds of minor changes that add up to major delight,” the OWN creator explained.
“The best way I know for sure to stay in steady makeover mode is to take care of yourself. To feed yourself with love and loving thoughts.
“Moving forward, you will see that the value you give yourself is the value that the world reflects back to you.
“When you care about yourself enough to embrace change, you’re on the path that will lead you home to happiness,” she wrote.
