With Olivia Newton-John last month confirming she’s “feeling great”, it should be a time of rejoicing.
But Woman’s Day has learned that with the bullies continuing to torment her daughter Chloe Lattanzi over her exotic looks, the 68-year-old superstar, who is currently fighting breast cancer, is preparing for a new battle.
“She hates that people are so unkind to Chloe and cannot understand why they would be so vicious,” one close friend tells us exclusively.
“She has always been there 100 per cent for Chloe and she always will.”
Chloe regularly attracts trolls online when she posts images of herself, showing off her tiny waist and surgically enhanced breasts.
“Of course, Olivia thinks Chloe is beautiful – she proudly shows these images to friends – and she doesn’t have a problem with Chloe posting those photos,” the pal explained to us.
“She just worries about the effect the bullies have on Chloe’s self-confidence, because she’s had a lot of issues in the past.”
