The 36-year-old was enjoying a few drinks at Surry Hills bar Low302 with his girlfriend of two years, fashion blogger Estelita Huijer, when the incident occurred.
The Newcastle local reportedly went outside of the bar at around 10pm when he tripped and hit his head on the concrete.
The singer was bleeding from the head and an off-duty doctor treated him before an ambulance drove him to Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital.
Daniel was treated and discharged a few hours later.
But not even a minor head trauma could slow the legendary Aussie rocker down.
Taking to Instagram the following day, the star shared a snap of him in the studio hard at work, as if nothing had happen.
“Jamming with M-Phazes this man has chops!!!!#studiodiary,” Daniel captioned the shot.
Daniel is expected to release his first solo album Talk later this year and is scheduled to perform at the Sydney Opera House May 28 and 29.
This latest incident comes after the singer was caught driving 2.5 times over the legal limit in his hometown.He was slapped with an $880 fine and his licence was suspended until June.
“I made a mistake, for which I am really sorry,” the singer told reporters outside the court that day, he added: “I completed the traffic offenders program and it will never happen again.”
