The Oscar-winning actress is more than happy to let her man steal the spotlight.
She’s long been his biggest champion, and now Nicole Kidman is positively chuffed that women all around Australia have fallen in love with her handsome hubby Keith Urban.
With Keith’s popularity at an all-time high thanks to his heartfelt comments as a coach on Nine’s mega-hit The Voice, a proud-as-punch Nicole is thrilled that he’s now the one being mobbed by adoring fans when they’re out and about. In fact, she’s already had some practice when it comes to being known as the country music star’s other half.
“Well, that’s what it’s like over in Nashville, too: I’m ‘Keith’s wife’ in Nashville,” Nicole laughingly reveals in an exclusive interview and photo shoot for the June/July issue of Harper’s Bazaar Australia. “That’s what is so wonderful; that’s what I hoped would happen with The Voice, because I know how good he is and I wanted other people to see it, I suppose,” Nicole says.
Despite her glamorous image, a down-to-earth Nicole makes another thing known – she’s a bit of a softie!“When we come back [to Australia] and we go into a shop or something, someone will just give me a hug and I think, ‘Oh my gosh, this is nice,’” she tells the magazine. “I’ll put it out there – I love getting hugs.”
