Nicole Kidman opens up about her bittersweet first Christmas without her dad.
It’s been a tough year for Nicole Kidman whose beloved father Dr Antony Kidman died suddenly in September but the actress has revealed how she intends to get through her first Christmas without her dad.
The 47-year-old Grace of Monaco star said she will be staying close to her family and loved ones this festive season to fill the void that her father has left since he suffered a reported fatal heart attack.
In an interview with Good Morning Britain Nicole said: “We’ve had some terrible things happen this year in our family, we will be still holding tight to each other as that’s all you can do at Christmas, hold tight to each other.”
Dr Kidman was a well-respected psychologist and Director of the Health Psychology Unit at Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital and was awarded an Order of Australia medal in 2005 for his contributions to clinical psychology.
