Nicole Kidman has channelled pop icon Madonna in a glamorous, eighties-style black outfit as she attended 36th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in the US.
The Australian icon donned black pants, a matching singlet and a black skirt featuring a dramatic, oversized bow for the occasion.
As for accessories, Nicole opted for a pair of over-the-elbow black gloves and black pumps with a sparkling embellished strap across the arch of her foot.
She topped the look off with plenty of glittering silver jewellery, including a heavy crucifix that looked like it was pulled straight out of one of Madonna’s music videos.
The 54-year-old actress embraced her natural curls for the evening, which only added to the eighties vibes, completing her ensemble with a lick of red lipstick.
And she wasn’t the only star taking inspiration from eighties and nineties fashion trends.
Taylor Swift notably wore a full-body black lace bodysuit – another tribute to Madonna, perhaps?
She and Nicole posed together with Keith Urban and Carole King in a snap the Aussie shared to Instagram, Nicole captioning it: “In great company! ❤️🎶”
A second photo caught Nicole posing on a hotel bed with her arms in the air as she showed off her outfit.
Nicole headed to the event with husband Keith, who had to stand in for fellow musician Bryan Adams when he had to pull out after testing positive to COVID-19.
The country rocker stepped up to the plate, joining big names like Christina Aguilera, Mickey Guyton, and H.E.R. as they performed a medley of songs honouring Tina Turner.
Tina was inducted into the Hall of Fame and sent her thanks in a recorded video message, choosing not to attend the event in-person.
Keith recently celebrated his 53rd birthday and Nicole made sure to make the day extra special for her husband of 15 years.
Posting a loved-up photo to Instagram, the actress wrote: “Happiest of birthdays my love 🎂🎂🎂❤️❤️❤️”
She also treated Keith to a night out at a Nashville Predators hockey game, one of the country rocker’s favourite sports.
The couple have been married since 2006 and share two beautiful daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
Despite being big-name celebrities, the pair value their privacy and choose to keep their family life out of the spotlight.
Nicole and Keith are among a growing number of A-list parents who choose not to show their children’s faces on social media in a bid to protect their privacy.
