The 48-year-old is now happily married to Keith Urban, but she has no regrets about her past loves.
“Any time you have a chance at something again is good, but each combination of people is different,” she candidly told The Evening Standard about the difference between her two marriages.
“I was a baby when I married Tom, but I don’t regret any of it.”
The mum-of-four then told the paper she didn’t want to comment further about her past relationship, “out of respect for Keith,” before adding, “Be the best you can be, not the worst, and think of the children.”
In the past Nicole has briefly touched on her relationship with Tom. In 2012, during his divorce from Katie Holmes, Nicole spoke to Who magazine about her experience as Mrs Tom Cruise.

“I don’t regret that because it got me Bella and Connor, and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period.”

She went on to marry Tom in 1990 when she was just 23 and he was 28. The pair went on to adopt two kids, Isabella, now 22, and Connor, now 20, before parting ways in 2000.
Six years later in 2006 the famous redhead married Keith and the couple moved to Nashville. Today they’re happily married and the proud parents to their two daughters, seven-year-old Sunday and four-year-old Faith.
The critically acclaimed star recently won the Natasha Richardson Award for best actress at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards for her portrayal of pioneering British scientist Rosalind Franklin in the play Photograph 51.
During her emotional acceptance speech, Nicole took a moment to acknowledge her husband.
Thanking Keith she gushed, “I will love you until the end of my life.”
In June, Nicole Kidman took to her personal Facebook page to celebrate nine years of marriage to country crooner, Keith Urban. Sharing a snap of her darling family, she said, “Nine years of love!”
