Australian actress Nicole Kidman and her country music star hubby Keith Urban have teamed up to surprise sick children at a Melbourne hospital.
While visiting Monash Children’s Hospital in Clayton on Friday, the celebrity couple put on an unforgettable and beautiful performance of the musical classic ‘Amazing Grace’ for all the children, staff and their families.
Strumming his guitar, Keith started off the show and a pitch-perfect Nicole followed soon after with the lyrics.
And it didn’t take long before the entire audience joined in for an emotional and heartfelt sing-a-long.
The charitable pair, both 46, then went on to donate an acoustic guitar to the hospital’s neonatal intensive care ward.
Nicole and Keith, who share two children together, Sunday Rose, 5, and Faith Margaret, 3, were in town to attend a fundraising event hosted by Swisse Celebrate Life Foundation.
“It’s deeply sad,” Nicole said.
“But events like the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball ensure that we are able to give to families in need. Even if it is just listening and hugging and showing support, then it’s worth it,” she added.
