Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban adore their fans, but when they are with their children they don’t take fan photos.
Nicole and Keith might be one of the most famous couples in the world but they have one rule to make life in the spotlight easier: no fan photos around the little ones.
The Oscar-winning- actress was on the TODAY USA show where she explained how she and Keith find it easy to protect Sunday, 6, and Faith, 4, from the Hollywood lifestyle.
“Our kids don’t understand what we do,” she explained. “So for them, it’s just, ‘Why is this stranger taking a photo of you?” And it’s very discombobulating for them.”
“We have a very easy, warm, peaceful life,” Nicole said of their home in Nashville. “I think that’s something that I always wanted.”
Living in Nashville, the famous couple love to go out with their two little girls, but the rule helps them create structure out of what can be mayhem.
Even though the Aussie starlet needs to be careful with her choices, she wouldn’t trade in her success. When asked if she ever wished she could trade away some of her fame, Nicole was adamant, “No!”
“It’s been an extraordinary journey, my life. From a little girl who grew up in Sydney and sort of watched the Academy Awards on TV when I was just 7 years old — to have actually come that whole distance is extraordinary.”
