A recent on stage slip might have spilled the beans on Nicki Minaj’s latest news: she might be pregnant!
The 32-year-old rapper ignited speculation she and boyfriend, fellow rapper Meek Mill, are expecting a child together when she introduced him on stage as her “baby father”.
“Make some noise for my baby father!” she told the crowd at First Niagara Pavilion in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, after which Meek smiled and waved to the crowd.
Since then fans have gone wild on Twitter and Instagram with congratulations and well-wishes.
But don’t rush out and buy the baby booties just yet, there is still a chance, that Nicki might have been joking.
After the show, a fan tweeted her the footage of her onstage slip, and her only response was a long set of ‘laughing-crying’ emojis. Another congratulatory fan was replied to with the same emojis.

After the show, the Superbass hit-maker Instagrammed a picture of herself with a group of fans, captioned “My beautiful babies. #Pittsburgh #ThePinkprintTOUR,” leading to speculation she might have been referring to her fans.
Last month, boyfriend Meek Mill also put a stop to pregnancy rumours by telling Sirius XM radio, “Nicki ain’t pregnant. But yeah, I wish.”
So, did the rapper have a sudden change of heart about her baby plans, or is she really expecting a baby?

But this certainly isn’t the first time Nicki and Meek have ignited rumours only to put them out.
Earlier in the year, Nicki was spotted sporting a rather sizeable rock – on her ring finger no less – which she claimed was from boyfriend, Meek.
However, after engagement rumours flared up, Meek adamantly denied he was engaged to the Anaconda songstress.
“I ain’t engaged,” he told Fader, “It’s definitely real. But it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”
