Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard are pictured sharing a tender moment on the newly released poster for the 1940s drama.
In the image, a dapper Brad leans in for a kiss as Marion closes her eyes and cradles a cocktail.
The Paramount Pictures film is set in 1942 and follows intelligence officer Max Vatan, played by Brad, who falls in love French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour, played by Marion, during a dangerous mission to North Africa.
The pair marry but their relationship is tested when Max realises his wife could be a Nazi spy.
While critics have praised the pair’s on-screen chemistry, last month their bond was thrown into the limelight after reports alleged Brad and Marion had an affair, which promoted Angelina Jolie to file for divorce.
At the time French actress Marion, who is pregnant with her second child to partner Guillaume Canet, vehemently denied the allegations via social media.
“This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into. I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up,” the actress posted to Instagram.
“Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need.”
Marion and Guillaume already share a five-year-old son called Marcel.

She continued: “Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn’t distressing. And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery.”
“Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment. With all my love Marion,” the star concluded.
Allied , which was directed by Robert Zemeckis, will hit cinemas in Australia on December 26.
