He found fame playing Daniel Robinson in Neighbours, the son of iconic couple Scott (Jason Donovan) and Charlene (Kylie Minogue).
And it seems actor Tim Phillipps has been busy since leaving the soap in 2016. Taking to his Instagram this week, the 30-year-old shared some exciting news – he and his wife Jessica are going to be parents for the first time!
In the cute video shared on social media, Tim walks into a kitchen to greet Jessica, giving her a kiss. Then as he lowers himself, his wife’s burgeoning baby bump is on display.
Speaking to his unborn child, the former Neighbours actor says, “Did you hear the joke about paper? It’s tear-able.”
Continuing his stream of dad jokes as Jessica watches on he adds, “Did you hear about the kidnapping at school? It’s okay he woke up. That graveyard? Phwoar, looks pretty busy. People are dying to get in there!”
Ok Tim – you’ve proved you’re well and truly ready to provide the abundant number of dad jokes that fatherhood requires.
“Getting warmed up for my new audience. He’s Ganna love these types of jokes, I can just tell! My partner in crime @jessicaphillipps will be the best mum!” Tim wrote in the caption.

Accompanying the video was several photos of Tim and Jessica and their soon-to-be bundle of joy – and if the images are anything to go by, these two are ecstatic to be becoming parents for the first time.
The prep work is already in motion too – another photo shows Tim lugging a box containing a new pram into the house.
After playing Scott and Charlene’s son for two years, Tim left Neighbours in 2016 and proposed to New Zealand-born American actress Jessica Lee Rose the same year. They tied the knot in Melbourne in March, 2017.
Congrats guys!
