She was born and raised in the country town of Gunnedah, New South Wales but these days modelling powerhouse Miranda Kerr no longer calls Australia home.

In her latest interview with Hello! Fashion Monthly the 32-year-old has revealed she has officially relocated to LA so she can co-parent her four-year-old son Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.

“We decided as a family it was the right decision for Flynn, so Orlando and I both relocated and we live five minutes from each other,” the leggy lady explained to the publication.

Before adding her son’s happiness is of the utmost importance, “Everything revolves around my son and his welfare.”

Miranda fell for the British heartthrob in 2007 and the pair quickly became one of Hollywood’s most glamorous power couples. They tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed their son the year after.

However things hit a dead end in October 2013 and they announced their split.

Despite going their separate ways, the duo have remained civil for the sake of their son with Miranda revealing she lives down the road from the Lord of the Rings star in Tinseltown.

“We decided as a family it was the right decision for Flynn, so Orlando and I both relocated and we live five minutes from each other,” the runway pro explained.

And the set up seems to be working perfectly for the modern family of three. “Orlando and I are still really close so he’ll [Flynn] be with his dad for a couple of days, then when I come back, he’ll be with me so that his dad can travel.”

Since splitting with Orlando the Kora Organics founder has relished her single status and been linked to the likes of popstar Justin Bieber, media mogul James Packer and most recently Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel.

For parents Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom – raising little Flynn is the most important priority in their lives.
