Miranda Kerr has spoken out about the infamous punch-up between James Packer and best pal David Gyngell.
The Aussie supermodel denies that the fight was over her, as had previously been rumoured.
Speaking to the UK’s Sunday Times Style magazine, Miranda said: “They weren’t fighting over me.”

Miranda and James have of course been linked romantically and were thought to be seeing each other on the sly when they were both in New York at the same time. Miranda denies there is a romantic relationship though: “James and I are friends, but people want to make a story, the public want to put me with someone.”

It was because of Miranda that photographers were camped out in front of James Packer’s Bondi home in May. Hoping to catch a glimpse of her dropping by the Packer compound to visit her rumoured lover, they instead caught a very awkward, very public fight between the billionaire James, 46, and his close friend, Channel Nine boss David Gyngell, 46 on the street outside his house.

It is thought that David took Erica Packer’s side in the divorce from James six months earlier, and that he disapproved of James’ dalliance with Miranda. Both parties were later fined $500 each by police for “offensive behaviour”.

Miranda’s ex Orlando Bloom, has of course also made headlines recently for getting into a punch-up of his own. Orlando recently took a swing at Justin Bieber over what is rumoured to be a hook-up between Biebs and Miranda. It seems that Miranda just can’t help but bring out the agro side in the boys!
