Our favourite comedian, writer, director – and just all around talented lady, Mindy Kaling is reportedly pregnant with her first child at 38 years old.
Mindy Kaling has been busy working on her hit series The Mindy Project for the past few years and is currently smashing out a starring role in the Ava DuVernay $100-million adaptation of the beloved fantasy novel A Wrinkle in Time
E! News reported the announcement yesterday and state the identity of the father remains unknown at this stage.
The source who spoke to E! News did not give much away, simply saying the pregnancy was an “unexpected surprise,” and the original article has since been removed.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see if these are just rumours or if Hollywood can expect another baby blessed with the coolest mum around.
Two years ago, in an interview with Flare magazine, Mindy said that “this has been the first year I realised that if I want to have three kids, I need to get going”.
“In my 20s, I was not only boy crazy, but marriage and relationship crazy. Now it’s almost the opposite,” she told the magazine.
“My work is so rewarding and I’m so self-centered about it that I’m kind of excited about not having to go home and ask someone about their day.”
