While fans may be hoping Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth patch things up after the couple’s latest break up, it seems their strained relations have gone further south.
The Wrecking Ball singer appears to be in no mood to reconcile, and has turfed Liam’s belongings, according to US publication RadarOnline.
“She’s thrown out so many of his favourite things, from framed photos and signed posters to designer clothes and jewellery,” an insider close to Cyrus told the publication.
“Some of it has been tossed in the garbage but other stuff has been boxed off and sent to Goodwill.”
The reports come as Miley is set to perform her new break-up anthem Slide Away at this year’s MTV VMAs.
With telling lyrics such as “Move on, we’re not 17/ I’m not who I used to be/You said that we everything changed/ You’re right I’m grown”, the song is universally recognised as a not-so-subtle reference to her split with Liam.
Miley has reportedly gotten rid of Liam’s stuff.

A rep for Miley officially confirmed the news to US media outlet People.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” the statement read.
“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
“They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”

Miley and Liam met in 2008 on the set of The Last Song, a romantic movie based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks.
They went public with their relationship in 2010 and became engaged in 2012, but broke it off a year later and then reunited in 2015 before their low-key wedding in December 2018.
Miley and Liam are believed to have called it quits around June but their separation was only made public earlier this month.
