The Wrecking Ball singer has adopted a Beagle named Barbie, who was introduced to Mileyโ€™s Instagram followers via the social media app on Saturday.

โ€œHappy to introduce the newest member of my family Barbie,โ€ the animal-loving star wrote alongside an adorable snap of the pooch.

Miley also added the hashtags #stopanimaltesting and #donttestonbeagles โ€“ the little breed are the most commonly used in cosmetics testing.

Liam himself is a fan of rescue pups. He has a brown pit bull named Tani, who was introduced to his Instagram followers in August last year, and a labradoodle named Dora, who was rescued with the help of Miley in November.

The Aussie actor is smitten with his two rescue dogs, Tani and Dora.

Meanwhile, it was an eventful Fourth of July weekend for Miley and Liam, who were spotted checking out the celebrity hotspot Soho House in Malibu on Sunday.

Miley was seen sporting her engagement ring given to her by the Aussie hunk in 2012 as they entered the venue looking chipper.

The reconciled pairโ€™s engagement was called off their engagement in 2013 after four years of dating.

Opening up about the split, Liam told GQmagazine it was something that โ€œneededโ€ to happen. However, since being spotted together again in December, the couple have been inseparable and appear stronger than ever.

While they havenโ€™t confirmed whether or not their engagement is back on, Miley is certainly sending a very clear message by wearing the ring again.
