Legendary Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger is now a great-grandfather — albeit a really cool one.
Jagger, 70, – who once sang “What a drag it is getting old” – earned the treasured family title courtesy of his 21-year-old granddaughter, Assisi Jackson who gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend, The Daily Mail reports.
“I imagine it’s nice to be a great-grandad — although I’m not sure he likes the idea of getting old, or being called one,” Assisi Jackson previously told Hello!. “I call him Mick — I wouldn’t start calling him grandpa.”
The new baby’s grandmother is 42-year-old Jade Jagger – who is also expecting another child of her own and who celebrated a joint baby shower with her daughter which hosted by her former stepmother, Jerry Hall.
If the Jagger family tree seems more twisted than most it’s because its seeds have been flung far and wide by an unconventional rock star patriarch who was rumoured to have slept with over 4000 women and fathered seven different children with four different women.
From his failed St Tropez wedding to Bianca Jagger, his Hindu beach ceremony to Texan model Jerry Hall and his tragic love affair with fashion designer L’Wren Scott, Mick’s life has been filled with beautiful and captivating women.
This new female addition to the family only adds to the grand tradition of Jagger women who have managed to mesmerize and inspire the realms of art, fashion, culture and of course, rock ‘n’ roll.

The legendary front man with the first Jagger woman in his life, his mother Eva Ensley Mary, who was born in New South Wales, Australia but returned to England and went on to marry Jagger’s dad, Basil Fanshawe “Joe” Jagger.
Mick has had many high profile relationships with women throughout his career but the first woman to bare him a child was American singer, Marsha Hunt.
Hunt gave birth to Jagger’s eldest daughter, Karis Hunt Jagger on November 4, 1970.

The first woman to make an honest man out of the rock star was his Nicaraguan-born first wife, Bianca De Macias who married the singer in 1971.
Mick and Bianca married in a Catholic ceremony in Saint-Tropez, France.
Sadly the marriage was not destined to last. “My marriage ended on my wedding day,” Bianca famously said. The couple separated in 1977, and in May 1978 she filed for divorce on the grounds of his adultery.
Bianca and Mick had one child together, a daughter, Jade Sheena Jezebel Jagger born 21 October 1971.
Jade grew up to become a fixture on the London social scene and was seen by many as a wild child.
Jade insists that she loves the “big, extended” Jagger family and has two daughters of her own- Assisi was born when she was 20 and Amba followed three years later.

The next woman in Mick’s life after his marriage to Bianca was Texan model, Jerry Hall.
Jagger began seeing the blonde beauty in late 1977 and having children and living together for several years the pair married on 21 November 1990 at a beach wedding in Indonesia.

Mick and Jerry had four children together including two girls – Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ Scarlett Jagger (born 2 March 1984) and Georgia May Ayeesha Jagger (born 12 January 1992).
Though both girls pursued modelling like their mother, Georgia’s career has taken off and she is now one of the world’s most sought after models.

Brazilian fashion model and TV show host, Luciana Gimenez Morad Fragali is the lastest woman to have a child with the rock ‘n’ roller. DNA tests confirmed Lucas Maurice Morad-Jagger, born 18 May 1999, was Jagger’s son.
Jagger has managed to keep good relationships with all the women in his life. He attended the launch of his daughter, Jade’s (center) jewelry launch with first wife Bianca (R) and daughter Lizzie (L).
Jagger’s most recent relationship ended in tragedy this year after the singer’s longtime girlfriend, L’Wren Scott (R), took her own life after a long struggle with depression. Here the pair were in happier times as they attended a party in London with Bianca Jagger.
Scott – a famed fashion designer – had many celebrity freinds and fans including actress Sarah Jessica Parker (pictured), Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz. After her death a letter written on Jagger’s website expressed the singer’s grief: “I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way. We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me.”
Jade Jagger, who has just become a grandmother to daughter Assisi’s girl, is also expecting child with husband, Adrian Fillary.
Jade and Assisi are said to have celebrated a joint baby shower, hosted by Jade’s stepmother and Mick’s second wife, Jerry Hall.
