Michelle Williams has given a candid interview about life, work and her daughter Matilda.
The 32-year-old actress opened up to AnOther magazine just days after ending her year-long relationship fellow actor Jason Segel.
She said that she has finally realised no one has a perfect life, and she’s happiest when she’s focussing on work and Matilda.
“I guess realising that there is no such thing as a perfect balance, it’s not like riding a bicycle, you don’t want to just figure it out and stay on track,” she said.
“I find that when I’m working, there are only two things: there’s my work and the kid, everything else has to fall away.”

Michelle said she felt more comfortable in her own skin since turning 30 two years ago, but said she still didn’t feel “settled”.
“I feel much more accepting of myself, like having a clear picture of myself that includes all of my flaws,” she said.

“But no, I don’t feel settled, I don’t feel like I have everything in a place where I want it to stay.”
