Michelle and Commando met on the set of hit weightloss show, The Biggest Loser.

The ecstatic new mum confirmed the news to the Australian Women’s Weekly, revealing her son is as “cute as a button.”

She later took to Instagram on Tuesday morning and gushed, “We are thrilled to welcome our little boy into the world, Axel Bridges Willis born 19/12/15. Healthy and happy.”

She added: “Thank you for all the messages of love!”

Initial reports from The Daily Telegraph‘s Sydney Confidential claimed Michelle had a daughter but the fitness pro has since clarified it’s indeed a boy.

According to the the Telegraph, Michelle welcomed Axel in Sydney over the weekend.

Her partner Steve has since been spotted at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick.

This marks Michelle’s first child and the Commando’s fourth. The duo’s newborn will join 39-year-old Commando’s three children from two separate relationships, 17-year-old Brianna, six-year-old Ella and three-year-old Jack.

Michelle revealed her big baby news via social media back in July.

“We’re so happy to announce our special news. The well wishes and love we have received already are overwhelming and beautiful. Thank you so much. Michelle and Steve,” the celebrity trainer wrote at the time.

“Excited to finally share our news today, Michelle and I are expecting a baby!” The Commando added.

The pair met on the set of The Biggest Loser and began their romance after Michelle’s split from her husband of nine-years, Bill Moore, in 2013.

In the past, the 12 Week Body Transformation guru has spoken candidly about becoming a mother.

“I’m very nervous. I overthink it. My mum said to me, ‘I don’t know why you don’t just get pregnant! I don’t know why you have to think about this and think about that’ – and she’s probably quite right,” she has admitted.

Pregnancy certainly suited the 45-year-old celebrity trainer!

Following her baby announcement, Michelle ruffled feathers when she addressed falling pregnant so quickly in her forties.

“I feel very lucky. I also feel all of my years and all of Steve’s years of looking after ourselves and taking care of our health and our bodies, it just goes to show,” she explained to Who Magazine.

“For someone my age for it to happen so quickly it’s obviously got to do with good health.”

Despite her controversial comments, Michelle well and truly found her groove throughout her pregnancy.

The celeb trainer kept fans updated with her progress and stuck to her fitness routine, often sharing fun work-out videos featuring her growing bump on social media.
