Speculation is rife that Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael, has married her boyfriend in a secret wedding.
The 17-year-old sparked rumours that she was engaged earlier this year when she was spotted out wearing a sizable rock on her left hand while out with soccer star Chester Castellaw, 18.
Paris herself has possibly confirmed the happy news. Like any teenager, she likes to document her life via social media, and now her username has changed from Paris Jackson to “Paris Jackson Castellaw”.
Is that an engagement ring? Paris Jackson was spotted out in May wearing a pretty silver ring with a rock on her left ring finger.
In addition to the name change, Paris posted a “throwback” picture of herself with Chester in a loving embrace, which she simply captioned, “Thank you”, along with a love heart.
Woman’s Day online exclusively broke the news back in April that Paris had found love with the handsome soccer star, and it seems Paris and Chester they’ve wasted no time in taking their relationship to the next level.
Paris has reportedly already been welcomed into Chester’s family as one of their own. But at 17, she would’ve needed permission from her legal guardians, Michael’s nephew TJ Jackson and Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, to tie the knot.
TJ has already spoken out about his approval of Chester.
“No one’s perfect, but he’s a good boy, so I approve of him… He treats her well. She’s happy,” he said recently. “He’s a good kid. He’s an ambitious kid, you know. He’s a teenage boy, so like any parent, guardian, step-parent or adopted parent, you gotta keep an eye on him. I was a young man too once, so I keep a close eye on him.”
Paris posted this sweet throwback snap of herself and Chester, captioned “Thank you”.
There’s been no word on what grandmother Katherine thinks of Paris’ potential husband, but it’s clear to us that the pair is completely in love.
“Paris is head over heels for him [Chester] and she has been gushing about him constantly, telling her family members that she loves him and he is her ‘soulmate’,” a source told Woman’s Day in May.
“Her family seems to like him and they are happy that he comes from a privileged background in Beverly Hills because they are very protective over the children’s inheritance and they want to make sure that he is with her for the right reasons,” the source continued.
“She’s incredibly grown-up for someone her age. People forget how much she’s been through already in her life.”
Paris’ happy news comes after a string of tragic events which started with her father’s death in 2009, and ended with Paris’ heartbreaking suicide attempt at just 15.
